Student work permits are issued at the Administration Center, 269 First Street. A completed work permit application is required before the permit may be issued; download applications here.

The employer must fill out the Promise of Employment on page 1 and a parent or guardian must sign page 2. If the student is under 16 a doctor must also fill in a portion on the permit application.

The student must return the completed application in person to complete the work permit process. Permits are issued Monday through Friday from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm, by appointment only, at the Mercer Administration Building, 269 First Street, Pittsfield, MA 0120. Appointments may be made by calling 413-499-9518.
